Praying Spiritual Warfare Prayers: The 3-Tier System

Many believers pray and still feel stuck. They have repented, fasted, read the Bible. The same pattern circles back. The same generational issue bleeds through. The same fight refuses to stay won.

There is a reason, and it is not weak faith. It is a mismatch between the prayer prayed and the bondage addressed. Bride Ministries has spent over a decade learning the difference, and Daniel Duval has published three volumes of prayers across three levels of complexity. Together they form a system this article makes explicit.

Daniel Duval often describes the frustration plainly. When someone comes from generations of the same sin, basic repentance rarely produces lasting change. People feel stuck even after repentance, the blood of Jesus, and fasting, because the cycle is anchored deeper than the prayer reaches. The fix is the right tier of prayer for the right problem, not more zeal.

Most believers treat "sin," "transgression," and "iniquity" as the same thing. They are not. Daniel Duval teaches they are three realities, addressed in different ways. Some bondage is rooted so deep, down to the genetic line and even the spirit, that breaking recent sin is a different work than being redeemed from inherited iniquity.

In plain terms:

• Sin is missing the mark. Basic repentance prayer addresses it.
• Transgression is willful rebellion. Repentance reaches it too, with more weight.
• Iniquity is a perversion that anchors deep, sometimes in the genetic line, and compounds across generations. Basic repentance does not always reach it.

When the issue is recent willful sin and the fallout from it, a basic repentance prayer works. Daniel Duval calls this Deliverance 101 in Prayers that Shake Heaven and Earth: confess, repent, renounce, bind, and cast out any spirits that came in through the open doors sin created.

For most everyday spiritual issues, that is enough. The trouble starts when the issue is not recent sin but generational iniquity, system-level bondage, or trauma-rooted attachments. Then the basic prayer does not break the cycle, and the believer needs to move up.

Daniel Duval describes the heavier prayers in the back of Prayers that Shake Heaven and Earth as prefabricated lawsuits. They transact deliverance from iniquity by addressing the legal ground the enemy is standing on.

The advanced and extreme prayers read like legal documents because the issues are legal issues in the spiritual realm. An ancestor opened a door. A wounded part signed an agreement. Ground was deeded to darkness. Reversing that takes the kind of language a court would understand.

Tier 1 prayers are the daily tools of a healthy believer. Basic means foundational, not weak. A person can pray them for life and walk in real spiritual maturity.

• Morning and Evening Prayer. Set the day in agreement with God's will, then close it, reverse attacks, and receive rest.
• Psalm 91, 23, 18, 140. Spoken declarations of God's protection and authority.
• Home Cleansing Prayer. Walk the home room by room, then speak over the whole house.
• Deliverance 101. The five-step prayer above, for recent sin and the baggage it creates.

• Apostolic Prayers from Paul's letters, prayed back over self and family.
• Power, Healing, and Financial Prayers. Faith declarations grounded in scripture.
• Prayer for the Spirit of Man. Strengthens and activates the human spirit (see Ministering to the Human Spirit).
• Freedom from Fallen Heavenly Powers. A foundational protection prayer.

A believer who prays morning, evening, and Psalm 91 daily, with the apostolic prayers weekly, has more spiritual hygiene than most of the church. Tier 1 is the floor, not an option.

When the cycle keeps repeating, when an ancestor's pattern still owns a person's nights, Tier 2 is the next move. Daniel Duval often explains that people get stuck severing from a heavenly prince because they do not know the mechanics: a tangle of anchor points, agreements, and legal claims they were never taught to pray through.

Tier 2 prayers walk through those mechanics one piece at a time. They read like legal filings because they are.

• Engage with Jesus Prayer. Sets the spiritual posture before larger prayer work.

• Weapons of Warfare Prayers. Activate scriptural weapons. Daniel Duval writes in Pummel the Devil (Chapter 4) that the small sword God gives takes "skill, technique, practice, and commitment" to use well (see The Weapons of Our Warfare).

• Gang Stalking, Ear-Ringing, and Territorial Warfare Prayers. For coordinated persecution and ministry over a region.

• Removal of Spiritual Devices and Freedom from Constellations. Close implanted tools and occult agreements with star systems.
• Freedom from Earth Systems, the Kabbalah Tree, Synthetic Kingdoms, and Walk-Ins. Address system-level and esoteric bondage.
• Prayer of Release and the Ultimate Freedom from Human Persecutors Prayer.
• Evening Prayer 2.0 and the Marriage Prayer. These require the spirit of man to be activated first, since that is the part of a person this work engages.

Most readers will never need Tier 3 as a primary tool. The ones who do are usually survivors of severe trauma, satanic ritual abuse, government-sponsored mind control, or high-level cult defection. The cases are real. The pastoral discipline is to know these prayers exist, know they are not casual, and know where to get help.

• Unborn Child and Living Stones Prayers. For prenatal trauma, curse repair, and identity components.
• Cleansing of Jewelry, Heirlooms, Stones, and Furniture. Closes contaminated objects.
• Prayer for the Spirit of Man 2 and 3. Deeper activations of the human spirit.

This section names technical and system-level bondage many readers have never heard described in a church setting, tied to occult covenants, high-level groups, or direct trauma. The prayers include:

• Bloodline Repentance and Abortion Prayers. Generational reset and repair of bloodline impact.
• Personal Grid Renunciation and Freedom from Evil Councils, Programs, and Grids.
• Freedom from Evil Marriage Covenants and Renunciation of Evil Offices and Jobs.

These names sound unusual to anyone who has never sat with a survivor of severe ritual abuse. They are not invented categories. They are the language survivors use for what was done to them. The bondage was already there; the prayers exist to address it in words that fit.

The deepest Tier 3 prayers, such as the Deliverance of Arche and the Singularity and Infinity Loop Prayers, minister to the earliest layers of the human spirit and require it to be activated first. Daniel Duval is direct that this is not a starter tool. Tier 3 is for trained ministers, and for survivors walking through it with them.

Daniel Duval's most detailed teaching on the higher-tier prayers walks ten steps of the Freedom from Principalities pattern, which sits between Tier 2 and Tier 3 depending on the principality. Bride Ministries covers the full pattern in Freedom from Principalities.

1. Divorce. Serve a bill of divorce against the spiritual prince.
2. Lock down loyal parts. Address parts still loyal to him.
3. Deed the territory back to God.
4. Bind gatekeepers, find portals. Identify the doors used.
5. Seal the portals with the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
6. Cut cords with the sword of the Spirit.
7. Return counterfeit inheritance: wealth, calling, power, genetic code, spirit children.
8. Appeal to justice for what was stolen.
9. Bind the strong man, cast out. Matthew 12:29 (NKJV): "Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house."
10. Consume objects in holy fire and ask the Holy Spirit to wipe the bondage from the spiritual realm.

This is the mechanic, not a magic spell. Before any of it comes the same first move: agreement with the finished work of Jesus, openness to the Holy Spirit, and willingness to walk the prayer in faith. The pattern matters. The heart posture matters more.

These pastoral questions are not a diagnostic tool. They are a starting point for an honest conversation with the Holy Spirit and, if needed, a trained coach.

• Has Tier 1 prayer brought breakthrough here? If yes, stay there. Most growth happens at Tier 1.
• Is the issue clearly generational? If the same pattern runs through grandparents, parents, and you, it is anchored deeper than recent sin. Move toward Tier 2.

Daniel Duval frames the growth this way in Pummel the Devil: strategic prayer takes "skill, technique, practice, and commitment." It is not a personality trait. It is a developed competency.

Praying for someone else who is not present is biblical and powerful. But Daniel Duval teaches a specific limit: the deeper Freedom from Principalities-style prayers cannot be prayed over another person from a distance without their agreement.

The reason is free will. Spirit-level prayer changes the legal standing of the person prayed for, and that requires their agreement. A relative cannot pray a Tier 2 or Tier 3 prayer over a son at college and expect it to take if he is not in agreement.

What can be done:

• Pray Tier 1 prayers of intercession for the person. Cover them. Lift them.
• Stand WITH the person when they are ready, and walk them through the prayer in their own voice.
• Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw them to a place of agreement.

This is the heart-posture rule applied to praying for others. Bride Ministries' methodology is not that the minister has all the power. The methodology is that the person standing in agreement with Jesus has the access. The minister walks alongside.

Most readers will not pray Tier 3 next week. Most should pray Tier 1 tomorrow morning. Build the floor first and walk in it. When the cycle does not break at Tier 1, the deeper prayers are there. The right tier matched to the right problem is what makes prayer in spiritual warfare actually move.
