How to use it

Alone, in a group, or as a church

  • On your own

Watch a message, read its chapter, and write your answers. Go at your own pace.

  • With a small group

Watch together, then talk through the four questions. Every question is written for a group as well as for one reader.

  • As a church

Teach the series as a season. Each week is one message and one chapter.

Questions

Questions about videobooks

Is this the same as the sermons on YouTube?

YouTube carries only a short segment of each message, about 20 minutes long. The videobook has every message in full, with its Companion Guide.

Do I need to take a level first?

No. Videobooks have no levels. Start with any series. Courses are where the Institute's four levels live.

Can I use it with my group?

Yes. The discussion questions in every chapter are written for a group as well as for one reader.

Which Bible translation does the guide use?

The New King James Version, unless the teacher reads a passage in another version. Then the guide quotes that version and names it beside the reference.

Do I get a certificate?

No. A videobook is for personal and group study. The Certificate of Completion belongs to the schools.
