The lesson plan
What each lesson covers
The course opens with a Course Introduction, then eight lessons.
- Course Introduction
Students learn the course aim of using basic tools and strategies to defeat the enemy. The course answers questions about demons and fallen angels. It also asks about regions of captivity and Satan's dominion on Earth.
- Is God in Control?
Students look at what Scripture says about God's will and human suffering. They sort suffering into the kind a believer can avoid and the kind a believer cannot.
- Armor of God
Students walk through the armor of God in Ephesians 6:14-18 and the sword of the Spirit. The lesson explains why Scripture calls our weapons plural.
- The Blood, The Water and The Spirit
The lesson presents the blood, the water, and the Spirit as three spiritual weapons. Students learn the characteristics of each.
- Strategic Protection of Sleep
Students learn the Evening Prayer and how it protects sleep from spiritual attack. The lesson explains how the prayer works and adds notes on it.
- Repentance, Remission, Renunciation, Forgiveness and Fasting
Students apply repentance, remission, renunciation, forgiveness, and fasting to spiritual warfare. The workbook gives each one its own section.
- Fallen Angels, Hybrids, Demons and Humans
The lesson sets angels and the nine orders of heavenly hosts beside hybrids, demons, and humans. Students define hybrids and their races, and learn how human spirit agents operate out of the body.
- Regions of Captivity
Students learn the three heavens, heavenly places, and the prison. The lesson covers prisons for spirits, realms, and humans as regions of captivity.
- Kingdom Warfare
Students learn the dominion of man. They study degrees of maturity and authority, and their place as kings in God's kingdom.
