body, soul, heart, and spirit
God made each person body, soul (conscious), and spirit (superconscious), and the heart (subconscious) is where the three meet.
body
The body is the physical being that experiences the natural world.
soul
The soul is the presenting consciousness with which you live out the majority of your life.
heart
The interface point between the body, soul, and spirit. This is the seat of the self-conscious.

We believe the spirit is made in the image of God. It is the superconscious part of you.

we all run programs
Decision-making is not just a function of willpower. The heart has its own belief system, independent from the beliefs of the soul and presenting consciousness. We call these belief systems “programs.” Programs run at a subconscious level and are often the guiding influence that determines the outcome of our lives.

There are three ways to program the heart.

talk therapy
reaches the soul
A licensed counselor helps you talk through your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Sessions often meet weekly for months. Common types include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.
Therapy works with the soul (your mind, will, and emotions). It can bring real insight, but it stops short of the heart. That’s how a person can understand their pain and still feel stuck.

reaches the body
A psychiatrist or another doctor treats anxiety, depression, paranoia, schizophrenia, poor sleep, and more. Most care uses medication, often for years.
Medication works on the chemistry of the body. It can ease symptoms, and sometimes it’s necessary. That choice belongs to you and your doctor. Medication doesn’t reach the wounds of the soul or the spirit.

life coaching
reaches your choices
A life coach helps you set goals, make plans, and follow through. Life coaching needs no license. It uses no prayer and does not invite Jesus in.
Life coaching offers accountability for your conscious choices and plans. The heart and the spirit sit deeper than both. Accountability alone can’t reach the programs that run in the subconscious. If your issues can be solved by life coaching alone, you don’t need Bride Ministries Coaching.

Psychedelics open a gate to the spirit world WITHOUT Jesus
Psychedelics are mind-altering drugs such as psilocybin, ketamine, and ayahuasca. Some clinics give them under medical care. Retreats often give them with a guide or a shaman. People take them hoping for a breakthrough.
Psychedelics open a door to the spirit world while your guard is down. This opens a door to demonic attack and spiritual oppression.
On a podcast, the host warned that with psychedelics “you’re forfeiting the protection of Holy Spirit.” Apostle Daniel Duval answered, “Yeah, yeah, very dangerous.”
energy work
Healing by evil spirits
Energy work includes Reiki, crystal healing, and similar practices. A practitioner claims to move or balance an unseen energy in your body.
Energy work seeks supernatural healing through demonic means without the finished work of Jesus Christ. We believe that spirit energy work operates on addition and subtraction. They may heal you in one way but bind you in another.
Apostle Daniel Duval warns, “while you may be seeing more results, you’re also going into more bondage. You’re opening doors with legal access and rights.”

Our distinct approach to resolving trauma is rooted in the revelation of human design. God made each person body, soul (conscious), and spirit (superconscious), and the heart (subconscious) is where the three meet.
Trauma response overrides the conscious mind, which is why willpower doesn’t work.
Willpower sits in the conscious mind, but most decisions are made at the subconscious level. Trauma creates a disconnect between the two—this is why behavioral modification techniques often fail and presenting issues can remain after years of real effort.
This is the fundamental structure upon which our prayer strategy and coaching practice are built. This is what makes Bride Ministries Coaching unique amidst other approaches to resolving trauma.

Work with a trusted prayer coach. Their training and expertise equip them to walk beside you in your most vulnerable moments.

You meet one-on-one with your coach by secure video. You need a computer or tablet with a camera and a quiet, private place.

one to two hours
Each session opens and closes in prayer and runs one to two hours, with room for what surfaces.

Your coach gives you prayers to use at home, so the work keeps going.
Every coach completes a rigorous training program at the School of Inner Healing and Deliverance. Before joining the platform, each coach completes 250 hours of coaching. Coaches train across a wide range of presenting issues, including complex trauma. They keep learning through ongoing education. Our confidence is in Jesus and the method, not in any one person.
