BRIDE Ministries Is Committed to the Broken
If you found your way to this page, there is a reason. Maybe a memory surfaced and would not stay buried. Maybe you have lived your whole life with a sense that something is missing, that pieces of you are not accounted for, or that the story you were told about your family does not match the things you are starting to remember. Maybe you are walking with someone you love who is just beginning to crack open what was done to them. Whatever brought you here, hear me. You are not crazy. You are not too broken to be reached. And you are not alone.
For more than a decade, I have sat across the table from survivors of Satanic Ritual Abuse and people walking with Dissociative Identity Disorder. BRIDE Ministries International is on the cutting edge of developing coaching techniques that bring healing to survivors of SRA and DID through the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is not theory for us. This is front-line ministry. And the path forward is real.
Dissociation and Trauma: How a Soul Survives What It Was Never Meant to Endure
Dissociation is the separation of normally related mental processes, where one group of functions operates independently from the rest. In its most severe form, that separation produces Dissociative Identity Disorder, a disturbance in the integrative function of memory, identity, and self. It is the only mental disorder defined by the presence of two or more distinct personality states (Chu, 2011).
Here is what the Church has missed for too long. Dissociation is not a sickness. It is a God-given coping mechanism every human being uses to one degree or another in order to navigate discomfort and trauma. The capacity to step back from overwhelming experience is mercy built into the design. The problem is not that the soul knows how to dissociate. The problem is what the enemy does with that capacity when the trauma reaches a level the mind cannot integrate.
When trauma is moderate or severe, especially when it is experienced in early childhood before the age of seven, dissociation moves beyond a temporary coping strategy and becomes fragmentation. Not every instance of dissociation produces alternate personalities. But severe and repetitive trauma in early childhood almost always splits a person into alternate personality states. That ability becomes a problem when it starts to interfere with healthy, integrated life.
Understanding the connection between dissociation and brokenness is a highway to accelerated ministry in the realm of inner healing and deliverance. You cannot heal what you refuse to name.
The Dissociative Continuum

Dissociation lives on a spectrum. On the low end of the spectrum, you find daydreaming, getting lost in a book, or driving the long way home and not remembering the last ten miles. Everyone does this. It is normal human function.
As you move up the spectrum, you encounter compartmentalization, dissociative amnesia, Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD), and finally Dissociative Identity Disorder. The further up the continuum a person sits, the more structured the internal system becomes, and the more deliberate the healing process has to be.
Credit to Dr. Preston Bailey for foundational teaching on the dissociative continuum that has shaped this framework.

Three Types of Fragmentation: Soul, Soul-Spirit, and Spirit
When we work with survivors, we look at the human being the way Scripture describes it. First Thessalonians 5:23 says, "May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Body. Soul. Spirit. Three distinct parts of the person. And in our years of front-line ministry, we have observed that trauma can fragment all three.
Soul Fragments
This is the most common type of fragmentation. Soul fragments are pieces of the soul that have split off in order to cope with trauma. They are pieces of consciousness. They can exist at any point along the dissociative continuum. Not every soul fragment in a person with DID will present as a fully self-aware alternate personality, what we call an alter. And people who do not technically meet criteria for DID still carry varying degrees of soul fragmentation. The severity and the significance of soul fragmentation lives on its own spectrum, and it is far more common than the average church wants to admit.
Soul-Spirit Fragments
In major splits during severe trauma, a piece of the soul will sometimes split off joined to a piece of the person's spirit. These soul-spirit fragments are particularly capable of operating autonomously, both inside the body and outside of it. They tend to be very significant and very strong. In a crisis moment, this kind of fragment can step forward and even replace the part of the person that was running everyday life. When you meet one, you know you are dealing with something deeper than a simple soul split.
New heading
This one is harder for people to receive, but Scripture itself opens the door. Psalm 51:17 says, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." The Hebrew word translated broken is shabar, which means to break in pieces or to shatter. Some traumas cut deep enough to shatter not just the soul but the spirit of a person. When the trauma is severe enough, we have repeatedly found that the spirit also exists in pieces. This is not speculation. This is observation from years of ministering to the most traumatized people on the planet.
Each type of fragmentation requires its own ministry approach. You do not heal a spirit fragment the same way you heal a soul fragment. This is one of the reasons cookie-cutter deliverance ministry so often falls short with survivors. The mapping has to be specific.

Satanic Ritual Abuse and Dissociation
Satanic Ritual Abuse is far more prevalent than most people would like to imagine. For survivors of SRA, most are dissociated from their own experiences. It can take decades for memories to surface, or even longer for a survivor to begin to understand that SRA is part of their background at all. Because of how dissociation works, the abuse and the trauma during the rituals stay hidden, even from the people who were involved. That hiddenness is by design.
Some survivors come from families that openly practice witchcraft or Satanism. Many do not. A significant number of SRA survivors come from families deeply involved in various secret societies: Freemasonry, the Knights of Malta, Eastern Star, Rosicrucianism, and a long list of others. These families can look incredibly respectable on the outside. Some survivors struggle to reconcile the public standing of their family with the memories that begin to surface. The respectability is the cover. It is part of why SRA survivors carry so much confusion and so much shame.
SRA can occur almost anywhere a cult is able to keep its activities from being discovered. Basements. Secluded fields. Wooded areas. Barns. Private property. For some families, a majority of rituals actually occur out of the body in other realms, including locations in outer space or under the water. Yes, you read that right. The kingdom of darkness is not confined to the visible world, and neither is the abuse it engineers.
Some cults enjoy significant influence in government and military structures. That influence gives them an unusual amount of immunity, along with access to hospitals, universities, and military bases. It also gives them access to mind control drugs and high-level technologies that assist their activities in ways mainstream science does not openly acknowledge.
Rituals can include subjection to blood and sex acts intended to conjure evil spirits. They can involve animal and human sacrifice. Incantations. Marriage ceremonies between adults and children. Ceremonies that wed a human being to a demonic entity. There is horrific physical and sexual trauma involved. Survivors are sometimes forced to consume fecal matter and urine of animals or humans. I do not list these things to traumatize you. I list them because if you are a survivor, you need to know that what you are remembering is real, and if you are walking with a survivor, you need to know what they are coming out of.
Trauma-Based Mind Control
In recent years, a growing number of survivors have come forward and described their involvement in government-sponsored mind control agendas in the United States, Australia, Germany, and many other nations.
Two well-known accounts are Cathy O'Brien's Trance Formation of America and Brice Taylor's Thank You for the Memories. Popular culture has portrayed the same dynamics in films like The Manchurian Candidate and The Bourne Identity. Each year, the CIA releases additional declassified projects that line up with the stories survivors have been telling for decades.
The link between Dissociative Identity Disorder and government mind control programs is undeniable. DID is the mechanism by which these agendas are executed. Once a person learns to dissociate as a coping strategy, programmers and handlers can begin to install programming on the fragments that result.
Programmers are individuals in a cult or a government project who use specific techniques and technologies to create trauma, fragment the mind, and install belief systems or demonic overlays. It is standard practice in this work to merge occult ritual with technological programming. Handlers are people who maintain an environment of control or abuse in the survivor's life, making it difficult or impossible to escape.
The mechanics are consistent. Trauma is introduced. The trauma causes the person to split. The new fragment is given an identity, a belief system, a job, unique physical or linguistic abilities, and whatever else the programmers need it to carry in order to fulfill its purpose.
Institutions you interact with every day are often complicit, including hospitals, universities, military bases, religious organizations, and the occult itself. That last sentence is hard to hear, but it is the truth, and the truth is the doorway out.
Illuminati Programming and DID
The highest level of mind control on earth is executed by a cult known as the Illuminati. The Illuminati is a network of families that trace their history back to thirteen root bloodlines. They work in direct collaboration with fallen heavenly powers to advance Luciferian agendas in the earth. There are people who claim initiation into the Illuminati, but the true Illuminati is bloodline-based. You do not get initiated in. You are born in.
Illuminati programming always involves satanic ritual abuse. The individual is subjected to a vigorous schedule of rituals, torture, rape, deprivation, and unspeakable horrors. The abuse is executed in tandem with government-sponsored mind control projects. The system is extremely complex and is overseen by non-human intelligence. An Illuminati survivor will be implicated with other realms, other dimensions, other ages, and other timelines.
The trauma is so extensive that it is not uncommon for an Illuminati survivor to carry hundreds of thousands of fragments. Some survivors carry millions. Only a portion of those parts remain with the physical body. The rest are scattered.
When Illuminati programming is present, the person typically does not have a pure human genetic code. Non-human genetic markers are common, and they serve as a backdoor to many of the spiritual problems the survivor faces. Survivors are often interfaced with a large number of heavenly powers that hold parts of them prisoner in their realms. They are often interfaced with computers, both on and off planet, through the quantum field. These systems can generate digital realms that hold their fragments hostage. The bondage is reinforced by various types of implants: nanotech implants, liquid crystals, torture implants, audio implants, and others.
Illuminati programming is the most difficult kind of programming to heal from, and it requires extensive, sustained intervention by the power of God. But the power of God is greater than the kingdom of darkness. It is not even a close contest. I have watched Illuminati-level survivors come into freedom that the cult swore they would never see. The Lord finishes what He starts.
Signs You May Have DID
Dissociative Identity Disorder is genuinely difficult to diagnose because its symptoms imitate so many other conditions. People with DID are routinely misdiagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or psychosis. The disorder itself is so misunderstood that some clinicians question whether it even exists. On top of that, the nature of dissociation makes survivors want to dissociate from the diagnosis itself, which makes it even harder to pin down.
Some of the more common signs and symptoms include:
Time loss, missing hours, days, or longer stretches with no memory of what happened.
Finding belongings, writing, or purchases you do not remember acquiring.
Voices inside the head that feel like distinct personalities, not just self-talk.
Sudden, dramatic shifts in handwriting, vocabulary, mannerisms, or skills.
Switching out during stress and "coming back" with no memory of the gap.
Recurring nightmares or flashbacks of events you cannot fully place.
Strong, unexplained reactions to specific locations, people, smells, or symbols.
A persistent sense that you are not one person, or that parts of you are not aligned.
Hearing yourself referred to in the plural by people who know you well.
A history of severe childhood trauma, even if the details are not yet accessible.
If you are nodding while you read this, please understand. These signs do not mean you are broken beyond healing. They are evidence that you survived something. The next step is finding out what is underneath and beginning the path home.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ Schema)
What is the difference between SRA and DID? SRA, Satanic Ritual Abuse, is the trauma. DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder, is the survival mechanism the soul develops to live through it. Most SRA survivors also live with DID, though DID can also result from severe non-ritual trauma.
Is DID a mental illness? DID is clinically classified as a dissociative disorder. At BRIDE Ministries we view dissociation as the soul's God-given capacity to survive what it was never built to endure. The goal is not lifelong management. The goal is integration and wholeness through the healing work of Jesus.
Can a Christian have DID? Yes. DID is not evidence of weak faith, demonic possession, or personal sin. It is evidence of severe early childhood trauma. A born-again believer with DID is fully loved, fully accepted, and fully on a path to wholeness in Christ.
What are soul fragments, soul-spirit fragments, and spirit fragments? Soul fragments are pieces of consciousness that split off to cope with trauma. Soul-spirit fragments are larger splits that include a piece of the person's spirit and operate more autonomously. Spirit fragments occur when trauma is severe enough to shatter the spirit itself, consistent with the Hebrew word shabar used in Psalm 51:17.
Can cult loyal alters be cast out like demons? No. Cult loyal alters are parts of the person, not foreign spirits. They were created during trauma and programmed by the cult. The work is inner healing and deliverance ministry, not exorcism.
What is Illuminati programming? Illuminati programming is the highest level of trauma-based mind control. It is bloodline-based, involves ritual abuse and high-level technology, and produces survivors with massive fragment counts and complex spiritual interfaces. It requires extensive ministry intervention to heal from.
How long does healing take? There is no fixed timeline. For most SRA and DID survivors, meaningful integration and freedom is a journey of years. The road is well-mapped, the Holy Spirit is faithful, and consistent ministry produces real, measurable freedom.
