MKUltra Survivor Testimony: Esther Ford's Path to Jesus

Some stories stay buried for decades because someone powerful wanted them buried. On this episode of Discovering Truth, Daniel Duval sits down with Esther Ford to hear an MKUltra survivor testimony that was never supposed to surface. Esther survived MKUltra and other government mind control projects. Her twin sister lived a public life. Esther lived the life nobody saw. Now she is speaking, and the spine of her story is not the darkness. The spine is the Jesus who kept finding her inside it.

Esther is the twin sister of Sue Ford, who wrote the book Thanks for the Memories under the pen name Brice Taylor. That book exposed abuse by powerful figures reaching back decades, and Duval shares on the episode that it marked his own life. He read it while God was leading him toward serving survivors of satanic ritual abuse and DID.

Esther describes herself as the hidden twin. While Sue carried the public side of their story, Esther was held inside secret programs, treated as property instead of a person. She has spent roughly two and a half years in prayer coaching with Daniel Duval, recovering her memories and her life piece by piece.

Bride Ministries teaches that a human being is body, soul, and spirit. On this episode, Duval explains that the human spirit can be deceived, wounded, and bound long before a person's earthly story ever begins. Esther says she did not learn this from a book. She met it in her own healing: an ancient ache in the deepest part of her, old lies she had agreed with and agreements that had to be broken in Jesus' name.

She is quick to add something bright. Not everyone who gets to know their own spirit will find darkness there. Many people, she says, discover the opposite: a spirit that has been with God all along. Looking inward is not about fear. Freedom is the point.

Esther is honest about the pace. Her freedom did not arrive in one dramatic moment. Healing came in layers. Day after day, Jesus would bring a memory forward, show her the lie inside it, and lead her through prayer to break its grip. Some seasons left her exhausted. She kept going.

Duval calls this work deprogramming, the slow, careful undoing of what mind control built. Esther simply calls it getting her life back. She even recounts a season when God sent visible help, angelic messengers who arrived morning after morning while she prayed. Heaven, as she tells it, was paying close attention to a woman the world had refused to see.

A word on that term, because it can sound cold the first time a reader meets it. Deprogramming at Bride Ministries is not something done to a person. Esther's strongest word on the episode goes to survivors who have no coach and no resources. Jesus is sufficient, she says. He woke her early every morning for years, guided her into the Bible and into prayer, and directed each step when she was too overwhelmed to plan one. Scripture puts it this way:
