What each lesson covers

The course opens with a Course Introduction, then eleven lessons.

  1. Course Introduction

Students learn the course goal of explaining how the Kingdom of God relates to the end times. The course uses an end-time framework, the Olivet Discourse, sheep nations, and parables about the last days.

  2. Kingdoms and The Heart of Man

The lesson defines society and culture. Students see how a society works like a program placed in the heart, and learn which kingdoms program the heart.

  3. End Time Framework Part 1

Students survey the millennium and historic premillennialism. The lesson then studies Daniel's 70 weeks, the gap between the 69th and 70th week, and the 70th week itself.

  4. End Time Framework Part 2

The framework continues. Students cover the consummation, the seventh trumpet, and the return of Jesus Christ, then the restrainer. The workbook adds Scriptures to consider.

  5. The Olivet Discourse Part 1

Students open the Olivet Discourse with the three questions the disciples asked. They also study the first four seals.

  6. The Olivet Discourse Part 2

The Olivet Discourse continues with persecution and the gospel. Students then study the fifth seal and the sixth seal.

  7. The Olivet Discourse Part 3

Students review the discourse and study the gospel of the kingdom. They cover the seven mountains of society and the attack on Jerusalem. Later topics include the abomination of desolation and the mark of the beast.

  8. The Olivet Discourse Part 4

Students study the kingdom at the end of the age and the parable of the fig tree. The lesson also covers the day and hour, the days of Noah, and the catching away.

  9. The Parables of The Goodman and the Faithful and The Wicked Servant

Students read the parable of the Goodman and the parable of the faithful and wicked servant in context. The lesson compares the two major judgments.

  10. The Parable of The Virgins

Students study the parable of the virgins, with its lamps, oil, and sleep. The lesson connects it to the wedding supper of the Lamb and the feast of God.

  11. The Resurrection of the Dead and the Parable of the Talents

The lesson explains the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead. Students then study the parable of the talents, the servants, and the reckoning.

  12. Sheep Nations

The lesson defines sheep nations as entire geographies under strong influence from the Kingdom of God. It compares them with goat nations. Students also learn the three assemblies, the great transition, and the Goshen principle.
