The lesson plan
The course opens with a Course Introduction, then eight lessons.
Students learn the course goal. They apply kingdom principles to Scripture about their heavenly inheritance. The lesson also explains how to use the workbook.
Students ask whether the devil owns the earth and learn how Satan gained authority over it. The lesson covers the parable of the vinedresser. It also traces the move from genetic Israel to spiritual Israel.
Students examine Matthew 11:12 to see how the kingdom of heaven suffers violence. The lesson also looks at John the Baptist and takes a second look at Revelation 12.
The lesson compares the Kingdom of God with the Kingdom of Heaven and works through tricky Scriptures. Students define the kingdom and apply the parable of the Dragnet.
God's kingdom is a realm that makes believers citizens and ambassadors. Students learn that God wants it shown on the earth, and they link its government to their identity as kings and priests.
Students walk through the parable of the sower, learn why Jesus taught in parables, and study how He explained this one.
Students see the Kingdom of God as a government with officers. The kingdom also works as a society with a program and a division of labor. Its culture centers on worship.
Students learn to connect with the Kingdom through body, soul, spirit, and heart. Ecclesiastes 12:6 ties the four together.
Students study Ezekiel 1:1-28 in order. They begin with the opening of the portal and the living creature, then move to the throne's wheels and the Almighty on the throne.
